I was the kid in school that cringed at the thought of giving a book report in front of the class. I was the awkward, insecure, approval-seeker who needed constant reassurance. So, to me, these articles are an ever-present reminder that God is able to take the least of us and show off His greatness.
Isaiah 61:4
says that, “they shall become oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”
A display of splendor has always made me think of a trophy case, a place where the works of the Lord are attractively presented. I’m not the bragging type. I hate to draw attention to myself, but on the other hand, I find it easy to boast in the Lord! He has done amazing and marvelous things in my life and I only want Him to get credit for what He has done.
